 Green Roof Farm is here to provide you with a beautiful, rustic venue location where history, family and love for the land is reflected in everything we do. Nestled in the heart of Eastern North Carolina, Green Roof Farm is a land where history and family run deep. Founded in 1887 as the Turnage Homestead, five generations of family have witnessed the ebb and flow of change that time naturally brings but ultimately remaining a place of love, hard work and dreams. Almost ten years ago, our grandfather saw the need to restore the family homestead to its original beauty and transform the old chicken barn into a masterpiece of craftsmanship which has become “Green Roof Farm”. This charming venue is located on 100 acres of farmland, where horses roam and creeks flow. In October of 2015, our cousin was married in the newly restored barn, marking a new chapter in family history and where the idea for a venue was born. We hope that Green Roof Farm brings you the same feelings of love, family, and joy for the next chapter in your life. We take pride in our family farm and will do our very best to serve you on your perfect day.
